ABOUT EDWARD

Edward is the Director of Operations of Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC). An accomplished senior-level professional with 17 years’ experience in the areas of social security/protection operations, social policy formulation and implementation, coupled with considerable staff management skills. Starting with SSHFC in 2004, Edward has occupied several roles over the 15 years he has worked for SHHFC including Public Affairs & Educations Officer, Fund Manager Recoveries and Senior Fund Manager Recoveries. Appointed as the Acting Director of Operations in February 2018 he was finally confirmed in the role in March 2019.

Edward is also a certified Teacher and has taught in schools such as St Augustine's Junior Secondary School, Charles Jow Memorial Academy and Marina International High School. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) Public Policy and Human Development Concentration: Social Policy and Labour, from the University of Maastricht, Holland. He also has a Bachelor of Art (BA) degree in Geography, from the St. Mary’s University, Canada.
